The COP29 Business, Investment and Philanthropy Climate Platform

The COP29 Presidency and UN Climate Change High-Level Champion, Nigar Arpadarai are pleased this year to convene the COP29 Business, Investment and Philanthropy Climate Platform.

The platform will unite leaders from the business, finance and philanthropic communities to drive joint action towards achieving the goals of the Paris Agreement.

Taking place on 14 November 2024, the event builds on the success of the COP28 Business and Philanthropy Forum held in Dubai, with a stronger focus on finance.

“The platform is a vital opportunity for leaders across sectors to come together and drive meaningful action. By focusing on finance as the enabler of the transition, we are creating pathways to accelerate climate solutions that support both the Paris Agreement and the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda. This is a moment for bold collaborations that redefine how we invest in the future of our planet.”

Nigar Arpadarai, UN Climate Change High-Level Champion for COP29.
