Asia Pacific Climate Week 2023 (APCW) launched today in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, drawing stakeholders, experts, and policymakers from across the region to showcase solutions and innovations, and to foster increased cooperation across borders and sectors in addressing pressing climate challenges.

From expanded membership of the Net-Zero Asset Owner Alliance to new sustainability standards for Brazil and the launch of the first-ever Employee Race to Zero, October proved to be a fruitful month for the Race to Zero.

With COP28 just three weeks away, the UN Climate Change High-Level Champions, together with the COP27 and COP28 Presidencies and the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for West Asia (ESCWA) hosted the Second Arab Regional Forum on Climate Finance at the Dubai International Financial Centre.

Latin American and Caribbean Climate Week (LACCW) opens in Panama City today aiming to galvanize the LAC community around a common vision of what it takes to transition to a net zero emissions, nature-positive and resilient world.

From Breakthrough moments to the launch of the 5th P Handbook, it was a busy month of June for the Race to Zero.

At the opening of London Climate Action Week, and marking the third anniversary of Race to Zero and the launch of the 5th P Handbook, prominent climate leaders came together to share their visions and strategies for accelerating our race to a net zero, nature positive and resilient world.

Race to Zero members, Salesforce, Enel, Orsted, Tesco, GSMA, BT Group, and Magway are leading the charge in their respective industries by developing and implementing innovative strategies and policies aimed at creating a net zero, nature-positive future.

Youth involvement, Indigenous perspectives, and enhanced local financial commitments to nature-based solutions were among the key priorities identified at this year’s Bonn Climate Change Conference.
